Good wedding photography captures the emotion of the wedding day, so that decades after the wedding, those feelings can be recalled to mind. Photographs of real, unposed moments can be the most heartfelt, because they are more likely to reflect who people genuinely are. The celebration after the wedding offers plenty of these unscripted opportunities. As a photojournalist, I keep an eye out for them. -Ian
